USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

Cut the fabric into the correct size.
If needed, leave an extra 5 to 7 cm to overlap the edges.

Use a putty trowel to apply the fabric in the corners, around floor traps and penetrations.

Apply the first layer of Penosil AquaBrake Fiber 640 hydro-insulating mastic according to product usage instructions.
Press the fabric tightly into the fresh mastic. Avoid air bubbles.
Then cover the fabric with a second layer of mastic.

Make sure the fabric is well immersed in the mastic.

Corners and joints:
To reinforce the inner corners, cut at least 20 cm wide strip of fabric.
For joints, cut at least a 10cm wide strip of fabric.

Floor trap:
Around the bathroom trap, use a fabric at least 3 times the diameter of the opening, preferably two layers on top of each other.

Pipe penetration:
To reinforce the pipe penetrations, cut the fabric with a diameter of at least 3 times bigger than the opening.
Cut a hole in the middle of the mesh tape that is 4 to 5 mm smaller than the penetrating tube diameter so that the edge of the fabric would cover the tube by 3 to 5mm.

Tips

• Surfaces to be sealed must be clean, dry and free from any dust, loose particles and oil residues.
• Concrete, cement and plaster surfaces should be first primed with PENOSIL BetPrimer 603.
• Application temperature between +5°C and +40°C.
