USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

Cut off the threaded end of the cartridge and screw on the application nozzle for directing acrylic.

Cut the threaded end in a way where a suitable opening for application is produced.

Place the cartridge together with the applicator in the gun and fill the installation nozzle with acrylic by repeatedly pressing the gun trigger.

Apply acrylic in the joint by repeatedly and evenly pressing on gun trigger and smoothly dragging the nozzle continuously along the joint.

After applying the acrylic, smoothen it with a rubber scraper. Remove excess acrylic.

TIPS

• Surfaces should be clean, dry, and free from old residues, polish, dust, grease and other contaminant which may affect adhesion. On wider than 5 mm joints, backing rod is recommended.
• Masking the joint edges with masking tape before filling quarantees perfect result. It is recommended to cover cured caulk with a suitable paint to guarantee its longevity and similar colour shade with the background surface.
• Paintable after the final curing. Curing time depends on the size of the joint (2,5-3 mm/day). Early painting may cause cracking of the paint. Ensure adequate ventilation in all joint locations.
• During the curing process, make sure that no impurities can settle on the surface and that the joint surface is not affected by mechanical load.
• Do not use at temperatures below +5 °C.

LIMITATIONS

• Not suitable for joints with considerable movement (more than 12,5% of joint width).
• Not suitable for connections in constant contact with water.
• Not suitable in connection with bitumen surfaces.
• Poor adherence to glass and some plastics.
• May cause corrosion on exposed metal surfaces.
• After curing, cannot be grinded as putty.
