Because, once mould starts to set in the sealant, it is almost impossible to remove.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list default-list\">\n<li>Regular cleaning: soap and other residues can propagate bacteria growth upon the sealant. Cleaning bathroom sealant regularly with a suitable product will keep it in good condition for many years.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ventilation: to prevent a build up of condensation, sanitary rooms need to be properly ventilated and joints dried quickly after water exposure. Try to avoid\u00a0having\u00a0sections of sealant where water can build up, there should be no dips in the sealant. Wipe the seal after every use to\u00a0ensure\u00a0that it\u00a0remains\u00a0as dry as possible.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>As soon as you notice mould specks on the sealants surface, clean it with a product containing vinegar or bleach.
