In the Northern European climates, where PENOSIL was born, there is a distinct chill in the air for the greater part of the year. Yet the early settlers in this often harsh environment did not view the cold as an obstacle, but rather as a challenge to be embraced and delighted in. Over millennia, rudimentary shelters evolved – from simple log houses insulated with moss to complex buildings – always designed to keep the winter cold and summer heat outside. It is therefore only fitting that PENOSIL was born out of these demanding conditions.
