Usage Instructions

Surfaces must be clean from dust, loose particles, ice and oil stains.
Moisten dry surfaces with water mist (only at temperatures above 33°F) to ensure a faster curing time and better end results.

Application with foam gun:
Shake the can vigorously at least 20 times. Hold the foam can in an upright position with the valve up.
Hold the foam can adapter in place with your fingers while screwing the can onto the gun. Hold the can upside down when extruding the foam. Foam adhesive output can be adjusted with a gun trigger and adjustment screw.
Do not aim the gun at people. Avoid screwing the can onto the gun with the valve upside down. Do not bend or turn the can during screwing.

EasyGun applicator:
Shake the can vigorously at least 20 times. Remove the cap. Hold the foam can in an upright position with the valve up.
Place the applicator onto the valve, press slightly until the applicator is fixed. Hold the can upside down when extruding the foam.
Foam adhesive output can be adjusted with the applicator trigger.

Apply a thin layer of foam adhesive, wait few minutes and then press the surfaces together.

Foam adhesive can be used to fill narrow voids and cavities.

Tips

• Air temperature during use: 14°F to 86°F, best results at 68°F.
• Can temperature during application: 41°F to 77°F, best results at 68°F.
• Due to the wide variety of construction materials, we recommend a preliminary compatibility test. Working at low temperatures, the foam can must be prewarmed to room temperature (around 68°F).
• The foam adhesive has sufficient strength for fixing insulation boards. Always follow building design, building regulations, standards or other relevant guidelines concerning additional mechanical fastening when covering insulation boards with cladding materials. Use of insulation support anchors is always recommended.
• Cold foam can has to be warmed with water or air (max. 86°F) before starting work in low temperatures.
• Use Penosil Premium Foam Cleaner 929 to clean tools and surfaces from uncured foam.

Limitations

• Can should not be exposed to temperature over 122°F, kept near heat sources or in direct sunlight.
• Store upright at 41°F to 86°F.
• Does not adhere to polyethylene (PE), PTFE (Teflon®) or silicone surfaces.
• Cured foam needs to be covered with a suitable material to protect against UV rays.
• In general it is not recommended to use this product on bituminous surfaces. In some cases, e.g. fixing insulation boards on bitumen treated foundations before backfilling, the product has sufficient adhesion. Always test before use.
• Windowsills must have additional constructional support, foam can only be used as an adhesive.
