PENOSIL SpeedFix Construction 878 is a foam adhesive with EasyGun applicator for fixing exterior and interior insulation boards, windowsills, construction blocks, etc. Suitable for exterior and interior use. Excellent adhesive and thermal insulation properties.
Aerosol can 1000 ml, content 750 ml 12 pcs per box
Surfaces must be clean from dust, loose particles and oil stains.
Moisten dry surfaces with water mist (only at temperatures above zero) to ensure a faster curing time and better end results.
Application with foam gun: Shake the can vigorously at least 20 times. Hold the foam can in an upright position with the valve up. Screw the can onto the gun. Hold the can upside down when extruding the foam. Foam output can be adjusted with a gun trigger and adjustment screw. Do not aim the gun at people. Avoid screwing the can onto the gun with the valve upside down. Do not screw the gun onto the can. Do not bend or turn the can during screwing.
EasyGun applicator: Shake the can vigorously at least 20 times. Remove the cap. Hold the foam can in an upright position with the valve up. Place the applicator onto the valve, press slightly until the applicator is fixed. Hold the can upside down when extruding the foam. Foam output can be adjusted with the applicator trigger.
Insulation boards and interior design boards: Apply the foam adhesive to the board surface in a continuous flow, parallel with the sides of the board (3 to 4 cm from the edge) and one strip in the middle, parallel to the longest side (up to 25 cm between adhesive strips). After applying the foam adhesive onto the board wait 2 to 3 min and then press the board onto the wall. The board can be adjusted/straightened during the next 5 min. With one foam can 10 m2 of wall surface can be covered with insulation boards.
Windowsills: Before fixing the windowsill, make sure the base surface is levelled. Spacers must be used to support the windowsill; foam can only be used as an adhesive. Apply foam adhesive to the base surface 3 to 4 cm from the edge. Weights must be used to fix the windowsill until the foam adhesive is cured.
Construction blocks: Foam adhesive can be used for building non-load-bearing interior walls. The first row of blocks must be well levelled using mortar. Foam adhesive should be applied to both vertical and horizontal surfaces. Wait for a few minutes after applying the foam adhesive and then press the stone surfaces together. Foam adhesive can only be used in case even distribution of loads from block to block is ensured. Not suitable for distributing or carrying loads.
