Usage Instructions

Cartridge: 
Cut the tip of the cartridge. Screw on the nozzle and cut an opening.
Place the cartridge onto a sealant gun. Apply the adhesive by keeping an even pressure at the gun trigger and smoothly dragging the nozzle along the surface.
Depending on the surface size and bonding area, apply the adhesive either in a continuous bead or in a dotted pattern. 
Immediately press the surfaces together and apply pressure until product is fully cured.

Foil package: 
Place the package into the foil pack gun. Snip the top off the foil package, just below the metal clip.
Screw on the nozzle with the cap. Cut an opening into the nozzle.
Apply the adhesive by keeping an even pressure at the gun trigger and smoothly dragging the nozzle along the surface.
Depending on the surface size and bonding area, apply the adhesive either in a continuous bead or in a dotted pattern. 
Immediately press the surfaces together and apply pressure until product is fully cured.

Tips

• Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from any dust, loose particles and oil residues. Non-porous surfaces should be cleaned with solvent and a clean, non-fluffy cotton cloth. Excess solvent should be removed with a clean cloth.
• When applying the adhesive in negative temperatures: 
  Avoid applying the product on frozen or frost covered surfaces.
  Curing time and final bond strength will be reached slower, allow enough time for product to stabilise.
  Make sure that condensation does not form on bonded surfaces as this may affect adhesion quality.
  Bring product to positive temperatures before application (e.g., +5°C to +30°C).
  In negative temperatures the product consistency might be thicker, therefore it might extrude more slowly from the cartridge. 
  It is recommended to cut a larger nozzle opening to improve product application.
• Ensure sufficient ventilation at the working area.
• Due to the wide variety of construction materials, we recommend a preliminary compatibility test.
• Uncured product can be removed with PENOSIL Multipurpose Wipes 943 or solvent. Cured product can be removed mechanically.
• Application temperature between -15°C and +40°C.

Limitations

• Do not use at temperatures below -15°C.
• Does not adhere to polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), PTFE (Teflon®), neoprene, asphalt or some bituminous materials.
• Due to the wide variety of paints and varnishes available, we strongly recommend a compatibility test before painting.
• Not suitable for bonding natural stone surfaces e.g. marble and granite.
