USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

Cartridge:
Cut the tip of the cartridge. Screw on the nozzle and cut an opening at a 45° angle which is slightly larger than the joint to be sealed.
Place the cartridge to a sealant gun.
Apply the sealant by keeping an even pressure at the gun trigger and smoothly dragging the nozzle along the joint.
Remove the excess sealant and smoothen the surface with a suitable tool.

Foil package:
Place the package into the foil pack gun. Snip the top off the foil package, just below the metal clip. Screw on the nozzle with the cap.
Cut an opening to the nozzle at a 45° angle which is slightly larger than the joint to be sealed.
Apply the sealant by keeping even pressure at the gun trigger and smoothly dragging the nozzle along the joint.
Remove the excess sealant and smoothen the surface with a suitable tool.

TIPS

• Surfaces to be sealed must be clean, dry and free from any dust, loose particles and oil stains. Non-porous surfaces should be cleaned with solvent and a clean, non-fluffy cotton cloth. Solvent excess should be removed with a clean cloth. If needed, cover the adjacent surfaces with masking tape.
• Depending on the joint size, curing time is 2,5-3 mm/day. During curing process, make sure that sealed surfaces stay clean and are not under mechanical stress.
• Uncured product can be removed with PENOSIL Multipurpose Wipes 943 or water.
• Cured product can be removed mechanically and then with a moist cloth.
• To guarantee products longevity, once cured it is recommended to cover it with paint.
• Due to the wide variety of construction materials, we recommend a preliminary compatibility test.
• Application temperature between +5°C and +40°C.

LIMITATIONS

• Can not be applied on bitumen or on building materials which contain tar, might bleed oils or plasticizers.
• Not suitable for joints with movement capability of more than 12,5%.
• Do not use at temperatures below +5°C.
• Do not use in damp or wet conditions or if rain is imminent.
• Not suitable for surfaces in constant contact with water.
• Painting over before the product is fully cured may cause the paint to crack.
