In traditional settings, Penosil PlasterSeal 650 can be used without jointing tapes. However, in the case of modular buildings, we still recommend using tapes as the deformations can be very significant during transportation and assembly.

In modular construction, cracks are prone to appear due to deformations that happen during transportation and assembly on-site. To address this issue, we recommend using sealants with high flexibility and using our patented spatula during product application. By strategically applying more sealant in the corners during installation, the joints can better withstand deformations. Despite efforts to minimize cracks, sealing work is often still necessary on-site due to the significant risk of cracks occurring during transportation.
