Sealing window and door joints: Using foil pack gun: place the package into the foil pack gun. Snip the top off the foil package, just below the metal clip. Screw on the nozzle with the cap. Cut an opening to the nozzle at a 45° angle which is slightly larger than the joint to be sealed. Apply the product by keeping even pressure at the gun trigger and smoothly dragging the nozzle along the joint. Remove the excess sealant and smoothen the surface with a suitable tool. Remove the excess product and smoothen the surface with a putty knife or a flat brush. Make sure that the membrane layer is at least 1 mm thick.
Using pneumatic spray gun: Insert the product into the spray gun. Adjust the nozzle according to area to be sealed. For optimal coverage, the air pressure should be 4.6 bars and nozzle should be around 75% open. If needed, after spraying smoothen the surface with a flat brush so that the membrane layer is at least 1 mm thick.
Sealing various penetrations: A sealing cuff or reinforcement fabric must be used when sealing penetrations. Use a putty knife or a flat brush to apply the mastic on the surface, install a sealing cuff or a reinforcement fabric and cover it again with the mastic.
