USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

Open the bucket and stir the mixture. Do not dilute it!

It is recommended to apply the product in two layers. When applying the next layer, make the brush strokes in a different direction than previously. This will reinforce the mastic's structure. Depending on the surface porosity, the next layer can be applied approx. after 1 hour.

Sealing door and window joints:
Cover the adjacent surfaces with masking tape. Do not cover the edge of the window frame or doorjamb with the tape, mastic must be able to form an entirely air- and waterproof connection alongside the whole joint. Use a paint brush to apply the mastic in an even layer to the surface.

Sealing various penetrations:
A sealing cuff or reinforcement fabric must be used when sealing penetrations. Install the sealing cuff or reinforcement fabric and use a paint brush to apply the mastic in an even layer to the surface.

Tips

• Surfaces to be sealed must be clean, dry and free from any dust, loose particles and oil stains. Non-porous surfaces should be cleaned with solvent and a clean, non-fluffy cotton cloth. Excess solvent should be removed with a clean cloth.
• Application temperature between +10°C and +25°C (air, surfaces and product).
• Maximum relative humidity 80%.
• Uncured product can be removed with PENOSIL Cleaning Wipes 941 or water. Cured product can be removed mechanically and then with a moist cloth.
• During curing process, make sure that sealed surfaces stay clean and are not under mechanical stress.
• Depending on the humidity and temperature, the final curing time is 6 to 12 hours.
• Once cured, the product needs to be covered with finishing material such as paint.
• Depending on the surface material and layer's thickness, products consumption rate is 0,5-1,3 kg/m².
• Due to the wide variety of construction materials, we recommend a preliminary compatibility test.
• Ensure sufficient ventilation at the working area.

Limitations

• Does not adhere to polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP) or PTFE (Teflon®).
• Do not use at temperatures below +10°C.
• Not suitable for surfaces in constant contact with water.
