USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

Apply the product in two layers by a polyurethane foam roller.

Priming: 
Mix together the primer and the primer hardener.
Stir well until the mixture is uniform.
After mixing, the primer can be used for about 45 min (at +20°C temperature).

Pour some primer into the bottom of the bathtub and use a roller to coat the whole bathtub surface in an even layer.

Depending on the ambient temperature and humidity, the bathtub can be painted 12 to 24 hours after priming.
Before applying the enamel paint, do an intermediate sanding of the primed surface.
Clean the sanded surface well and make sure there is no dust on the bathtub surface.

Painting: 
Mix together the enamel and the curing agent.
Stir well until mixture is uniform.
After mixing, the paint can be used for about 45 min (at +20°C temperature).

Pour some paint into the bottom of the bathtub and use a roller to coat the whole bathtub surface in an even layer.

The bathtub will be ready for use in 7 days (drying temperature above +20°C, air humidity up to 80%).

Tips

• Before painting or priming, roughen the bathtub surface with coarse sandpaper.
• Before painting, make sure the bathtub surface is clean, dry and free from any dust residues.
• Cover the tap, drainage and bathtub edges with masking tape.
• If the enamel is missing in some parts, fill these areas with PENOSIL Epoxy Fix Aqua 510 epoxy putty.
• The white base tone can be tinted with water-based paint toners.
• Clean the tools immediately after use with soap and water.

Limitations

• Not suitable for sheet metal or plastic bath tubs.
• Paints containing highly active colorants (hair and yarn dyes, bath foams and balls, etc.) can cause a permanent change in the enamel coating.
• Using the bathtub before the enamel coating has totally dried can cause a permanent change in the enamel coating.
