PENOSIL ElectroFoam 220V is a PU gun foam with a special EasyGun applicator for installing and sealing works in the electrical sector. The fast-curing and low expansion properties makes this PU foam especially suitable for installing electrical boxes and corrugated pipe trace works on masonry and plasterboard surfaces.

Usage instructions

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

Surfaces must be clean from dust, loose particles and oil stains.

Moisten dry surfaces with water mist to ensure a faster curing time and better end results.

EasyGun applicator:
Shake the can vigorously at least 20 times. Hold the foam can in an upright position with the valve up.
Place the applicator onto the valve, press slightly until the applicator is fixed. Hold the can upside down when extruding the foam. Foam output can be adjusted with the applicator trigger.

Foam gun:
Shake the can vigorously at least 20 times. Hold the foam can in an upright position with the valve up.
Hold the foam can adapter in place with your fingers while screwing the gun onto the can. Hold the can upside down when extruding the foam.
Foam output can be adjusted with a gun trigger and adjustment screw.

Fill the joints up to approx. 65%. In the case of larger joints, apply foam in several layers and moisten slightly between each layer. Excess foam can be cut off after it has fully cured.

Do not aim the gun at people. Avoid screwing the gun onto the can with the valve upside down. Do not bend or turn the can during screwing.

Limitation & tips

Tips

Air temperature during use: +5°C to +30°C.
Protect adjacent surfaces with paper, plastic film or other suitable material.
Due to the wide variety of construction materials, we recommend a preliminary compatibility test.
Working at low temperatures, the foam can must be prewarmed to room temperature (around +20°C).
Use Penosil Foam Cleaner 929 to clean tools and surfaces of uncured foam.
Use Penosil Cleaning Wipes 941 to clean hands and clothes of uncured foam.
Penosil Foam Remover 995 softens cured foam and helps to remove it easier.

Limitations

This product is not fire rated and should not be used in places where fire resistance is required.
Does not adhere to polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), PTFE (Teflon®) or silicone surfaces.
Do not use at temperatures below +5°C.
Cured foam needs to be covered with a suitable material to protect against UV rays.
Do not cover before the foam has fully cured.
Please observe the expiration date!
