Usage instructions

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

Surfaces must be clean from dust, loose particles and oil stains. Moisten dry surfaces with water mist to ensure a faster curing time and better end results.
Shake the can vigorously at least 20 times. Hold the foam can in upright position.
Screw the applicator (straw) to the foam can valve. For application, turn the can upside down and press the applicator trigger. Use the applicator trigger to adjust the foam output.

Instructions for gluing insulation boards and interior design boards

Apply the foam adhesive to boards as an even flow, parallel with the sides of the board (3–4 cm from the edge) and one strip in the middle, parallel to the longest side (up to 25 cm between adhesive strips).
After applying the foam adhesive to the board, press the board to the wall. The boards bonded can be adjusted within up to 2 minutes.
Output (for 750 ml) when fixing insulation boards is up to 11 m2 of wall surface.

The foam adhesive has sufficient strength for fixing insulation boards. Always follow building design, building regulations, standards or other relevant guidelines concerning additional mechanical fastening when covering insulation boards with cladding materials. Use of insulation support anchors is always recommended.

Fixing window sills

Before fixing the window sill make sure that the base surface is leveled.
Spacers must be used to support the window sill; foam can only be used as an adhesive. Apply foam adhesive to the base surface 3–4 cm from the edge.
Weights must be used to fix the window sill until the foam adhesive is cured.

Tips & Limitations

Tips

Air temperature during use: +5°C to +30°C.
Always follow building design, building regulations, standards or other relevant guidelines concerning additional mechanical fastening when covering insulation boards with cladding materials.
Use of insulation support anchors is always recommended.
Consult with a sales agent, a dealer or an architect regarding compatibility with various stone-based materials and other technical issues.
Due to the wide variety of construction materials, we recommend a preliminary compatibility test.
Working at low temperatures, the foam can must be prewarmed to room temperature (around +20°C).
Use Penosil Foam Cleaner 929 to clean tools and surfaces from uncured foam.
Use Penosil Cleaning Wipes 941 to clean hands and clothes from uncured foam.

Limitations

Does not adhere to polyethylene (PE), PTFE (Teflon®) or silicone surfaces.
Do not use at temperatures below +5°C.
Cured foam adhesive needs to be covered with a suitable material to protect against UV rays.
Not recommended for bituminous surfaces.
Windowsills must have additional constructional support, foam can only be used as an adhesive.
