Usage Instructions

Surfaces must be clean from dust, loose particles and oil stains.
Remove the cap. Hold the foam can in an upright position with the valve up. Screw the straw applicator tightly onto the foam can valve.

To activate the internal cylinder, turn the actuator propeller at the bottom of the cylinder at least 6 times in the direction of the arrow.

Shake the can vigorously at least 30 times for the components to mix. Immediately turn the can upside down and start using the foam.
Foam should have evenly light pink color. If the colour is not even, shake the can again and continue to apply the foam.
Foam output can be adjusted with the applicator trigger.

Do not wait! After turning the propeller, the foam needs to be used up during the next 5 min or it will cure inside the can.
Also, once the system has been activated, heat is released.
If the can is not emptied completely and the temperature inside the can rises above +50°C, there is a risk of explosion.

As the foam expands, fill the joint only partially. In the case of larger joints, apply foam in several layers.
Excess foam can be cut off after it has fully cured.

Tips

• Air temperature during use: +10°C to +30°C.
• Protect adjacent surfaces with paper, plastic film or other suitable material.
• Due to the wide variety of construction materials, we recommend a preliminary compatibility test.
• Working at low temperatures, the foam can must be prewarmed to room temperature (around +20°C).
• Use Penosil Foam Cleaner 929 to clean tools and surfaces of uncured foam.
• Use Penosil Cleaning Wipes 941 to clean hands and clothes of uncured foam.
• Penosil Foam Remover 995 softens cured foam and helps to remove it easier.

Limitations

• Does not adhere to polyethylene (PE), PTFE (Teflon®) or silicone surfaces. 
• Do not use at temperatures below +10°C.
• Cured foam needs to be covered with a suitable material to protect against UV rays. 
• Do not cover before foam has fully cured.
• Can temperature before activation: +15°C to +25°C, best results at +20°C. The can has to be cooled down in water if the temperature of the can exceeds +25°C.
• Once the two-component curing system has been activated, heat is released. Therefore, the content of the can needs to be used up within 5 minutes. If the can is not emptied completely or the can temperature exceeds +25°C before activation, there is a risk of explosion.
